Seriously, I've been on a lace knitting bender. All I've done this week is work on my lace leaf shawl while listening to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix on CD. I don't know which one I'll finish first. Probably Harry Potter, since the rows are getting progressively longer and longer. But I'm loving how it's turning out. I've never worn actually worn shawl before, but I find myself envisioning elegant outfits to wear with my shawl wrapped around me. Too bad reality is me at home in jeans and t-shirts. I'll admit it's time to expand and update the wardrobe, but I'd still need a place to wear the outfit I have in my head to. And at least I could wear my hand knits to knit night. Dressy, casual or even completely out of season, my fellow knitters would understand.
In other news, I think I've figured out most of my Christmas gift plan for this year, so I plan on getting started now so I can hopefully avoid any last-minute panicking. Up first will be some felted clogs, just a soon as I find the right shade of yellow.
